Housing … and Housing Shortages, Are Political
Most American cities currently suffering from a housing shortage could cure their deficit in as little as five years with little to no direct expenditure of public funds. This is true regardless of the physical land constraints faced by many coastal cities. While this bold assertion will be explored in detail in a future article, I’ll be on a panel discussing both recent and anticipated future changes in housing policy and development patterns in San Diego county at the upcoming USD Burnham Moores 2020 Residential Real Estate Conference this Friday.
We hope you can join us for what is likely to be a far-ranging and lively discussion. In addition, the Burnham Moores Center at the University of San Diego consistently draws a high-caliber audience to their programs, providing you with an opportunity for quality networking.
